The cutting of glass is by far the most exhilarating part of the process, due to the control, the speed, the sound, the mistakes, the splinters and the bleeding, it can be a rollercoster of emotions, as well as practicing our breathing techniques. Forgetting to breathe during a technical cut is par the coarse, in my case sometimes.
There is nothing quite like celebrating in your own little sanctuary of a workshop when you cut a difficult piece successfully, knowing it could have ended in disaster and costing a fair penny in a wasted sheet of beautiful glass.
