Wall lining paper is my best friend, as it is perfect for drawing my glass designs on and it is pretty inexpensive. My largest pieces to date are 60cm x 40cm, so these rolls of paper are the perfect size. I also use clear perspex and trace the designs on it with marker pen for when I am cutting and grinding the glass, to ensure the pieces fit together correctly. By doing it this way it protects the paper from getting wet and damaged. Then when the piece is complete I use acetone to wipe the permanent marker off of the perspex ready for the next design.
